Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. a.ka. Lil Wayne was born and raised in  New Orleans, Louisiana.
Lil Wayne dropped out of middle school. He went back to get his GED then around 2005 he majored in psychology at the University of Houston. Later dropped out and took courses at the University of Phoenix.
 Lil Wayne's parents are Jacida Carter and Dwayne Michael Carter. He has four children; Reginae, Cameron, Dwayne III, and Neal. He was married to Antonia "Toya" Johnson for two years. They divorced in 2006. He has one younger brother.
Lil Wayne became famous be cause Birdman signed him, and they were known for the Song "The Block is Hot".
He was won over 50+ awards including Vibe Music Awards, Ozone Awards, BET Hip-Hop Awards, BET Awards, MTV Music Video Awards, Grammy Awards, Billboard Music Awards, ASCAP Awards, Sucker Free Summit Awards etc. Lil Wayne is working on his Spring 2013 clothings line called "TRUKFIT". I would say that Lil Wanye is the one and only rapper alive that I love and his music is great. Lil Wayne needs to keep doing what he"s doing GOOD JOB WEEZY
